In 2024, Yakima Federal gave more than $750,000 in charitable contributions to our communities.
We are honored to take part in funding community building projects, helping those without shelter get into homes, fostering the arts and education and supporting our communities.

- $80,000 to Boys and Girls Club of Benton and Franklin Counties
- $40,000 to Mirror Ministries to help survivors of sex trafficking

Toys for Tots – Yakima, Benton, Franklin, Kittitas Counties
Yakima Federal is proud to support Toys for Tots. In 2025, 16 boxes full of toys were donated in addition to $2,500 raised at Decemberfest, a concert for Toys for Tots.
Habitat for Humanity – Benton / Franklin / Walla Walla Counties
Yakima Federal is proud to support Habitat For Humanity in Benton and Franklin Counties with a donation of $20,000. Habitat For Humanity builds affordable homes for low-income families and uses sweat-equity for the down payment coupled with a low-interest mortgage.

Mirror Ministries
Yakima Federal has made a donation of $40,000 to Mirror Ministries of Richland, WA. Mirror Ministries’ mission is to respond to domestic minor sex trafficking with the love of Christ through local education, intervention, restoration, and aftercare.
United Way of Central Washington
Yakima Federal is proud to announce a donation of $110,000 to the United Way of Central Washington to support their programs in our communities.
Awards for Academic Excellence
In 2025, Yakima Federal Savings and Loan awarded $167,500 in academic assistance to area students and schools. In addition to $2,500 to each student, seven local colleges and universities will each receive $2,500. Since the program inception in 1975, Yakima Federal Savings and Loan has given more than $3,200,000 to local students and institutions to help pay for secondary education.
